COMMUNITY ANOUNCEMENT
We are delighted to confirm that Willy Wroe is not in the revised draft of the GMSF (GREATER MANCHESTER SPATIAL FRAMEWORK) in the release today by the GMCA (GREATER MANCHESTER COMBINED AUTHORITY). We can confirm that in anticipation of this announcement the team has been working closely with Trafford Council Leader Andrew Western and officers in securing the site with a robust legal covenant protecting it from future threats of development and creating a wonderful open space for this community to enjoy in permanence. We as a community group acknowledge in discussions with Trafford Council that the site has to be sustainable and so therefore we will be hosting a series of open events so the community can give their input on how the site can be future developed for all to enjoy.
